Bespoke framing is new to most people. The process is straightforward, and no prior knowledge is required.

Bring your piece to the shop
Seeing the piece in person tells us what we are working with — the medium, the size and how it should be handled — so we can recommend the right way to frame it. We then try mouldings and mount board against it at the counter, so you can see each combination rather than imagine it.

We prepare a quotation
The price is calculated from the moulding, the size, the mount and the glass. You will receive a full quotation before anything is ordered, and no deposit is required on standard work. Our frame builder can give you an estimate beforehand, confirmed once we see the piece.

We complete the work and contact you
All framing is carried out on the premises, typically within seven to ten working days. We will confirm a timescale at the counter and contact you as soon as your piece is ready for collection.
On the tools, every day
It is a small high street shop, and we work at the bench behind the counter. We cut and join the moulding, cut the mount and the glass, and print in-house when a piece needs printing before it is framed. Nothing is sent away to a factory.
It means that when you bring something in, you are speaking directly to the person who will make it. If a mount needs to be a particular width, or a sports shirt needs mounting so that it will not sag over time, we can advise you there and then and get it right first time.
